Meet the team

Taylor Hood, MT-BC

Taylor Hood is a board-certified music therapist and the founder of Notes of Healing Music Therapy, LLC. She has had a lifelong passion for music and for working with people, which led her to pursue a career in music therapy and establish her private practice in 2023. Taylor is deeply committed to supporting individuals of all ages and abilities, and believes in the power of connection, creativity, and meeting each person where they are. Taylor completed her coursework at Elizabethtown College and her clinical internship at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. She has experience working with a wide range of populations and is especially passionate about providing community-based music therapy services that increase access and inclusion. Her work has taken her into a variety of settings, including older adult communities, early intervention programs, hospice and end-of-life care, daycare centers, after-school programs for children and adolescents with Autism, mental health centers, and recovery and rehabilitation programs. Through innovative and client-centered music therapy interventions, Taylor is dedicated to walking alongside her clients on their healing journeys. She values building meaningful relationships and creating spaces where individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered. Taylor lives in central Pennsylvania with her husband, Frank, and their two dogs, Rocky and Pearl. In her free time, she enjoys camping and spending time outdoors with her family.


Lizvette Pappaterra, MT-BC

Lizvette Pappaterra is a board-certified music therapist at Notes of Healing Music Therapy, LLC. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and grew up in Northern New Jersey. She later moved to Pennsylvania to pursue her undergraduate degree at Elizabethtown College and completed her clinical internship at the Louisville Center for Therapy and Personal Sustainability in Kentucky. Lizvette first discovered her passion for music in high school through her choir director, who introduced her to the field of music therapy. She quickly realized that music therapy was the perfect fit, combining her love of music with her desire to help others. Through her education and time at Notes of Healing, Lizvette gained experience working with individuals of all ages, including those with intellectual disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, mental health diagnoses, memory impairments, substance use disorders, and more. She is bilingual and especially enjoys working with diverse populations, helping to create inclusive and accessible therapeutic spaces. In her free time, Lizvette enjoys hiking, capturing sunset photography, and is also a second-degree black belt in taekwondo.

Lindsay Moravec, MT-BC

Lindsay is a board-certified music therapist at Notes of Healing Music Therapy, LLC. She was born and raised in Eldersburg, Maryland, and is a lifelong choir singer and theater enthusiast. Lindsay first discovered music therapy in high school and was immediately inspired by its impact. After participating in volunteer work and a church mission trip, where she witnessed firsthand the power of music to support others, she decided to pursue music therapy as a career. Lindsay earned her Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy from Nazareth University in Rochester, New York, along with minors in psychology and spiritual care. She completed her clinical internship with Hudson Valley Hospice in Poughkeepsie, New York. Throughout her education and training, Lindsay developed a strong passion for providing person-centered care to clients of all ages. She has experience working with individuals with speech impairments, developmental disabilities, neurodegenerative diseases, terminal diagnoses, and more. Lindsay now lives in central Pennsylvania and is excited to continue her music therapy career with Notes of Healing. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, reading, attending live theater, and occasionally performing on stage herself.
