Taylor Hood is a board-certified music therapist and the founder of Notes of Healing Music Therapy, LLC. She has had a lifelong passion for music which led her to pursue a career in music therapy as well as starting her private practice in 2023. Taylor completed her coursework at Elizabethtown and her internship with Penn State Hershey Medical Center, and has gained experience working with individuals of all ages and varying needs. She is dedicated to helping clients while on their healing journey using innovative music therapy interventions. Taylor has provided services in a number of communities and centers including older adult communities, end-of-life care and hospice programs, day care centers, after school programs for children and adolescents with Autism, mental health centers, recovery and rehabilitation centers, and more. Taylor lives in central Pennsylvania with her husband, Frank, and two dogs, Rocky and Pearl, and enjoys camping with them during her free time.
Lizvette Pappaterra is a music therapist at Notes of Healing Music Therapy, LLC. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri and grew up in Northern New Jersey. She moved to Pennsylvania for her undergraduate degree completing her education at Elizabethtown College and her internship at the Louisville Center for Therapy and Personal Sustainability in Kentucky. Lizvette first gained an interest in music in high school through her choir director who introduced her to the field of music therapy. She found being a music therapy major in college was the perfect fit for her as the program combined her love of music with her interest in helping others. Through her education and internship, Lizvette has gained experience working with a variety of individuals of all ages with intellectual disabilities, traumatic brain injury, mental health diagnoses, memory impairments, substance use disorders, and more. She is bilingual and enjoys working with a diverse client base. Lizvette recently relocated back to central Pennsylvania to continue to pursue her music therapy career at Notes of Healing Music Therapy, LLC! In her free time, Lizvette enjoys hiking, taking sunset photographs, and she is also a second-degree black belt in taekwondo!
